LET US DEFINE WOKE-ISM AS A MOVEMENT
It is an anachronism based on four words which have come from a radical racial communist group primarily. WOKE comes from the anachronism

Overlooking
Known
Evil
Any person who wants to fight for social justice would be WOKE and now awakened. Others would be afraid to be labeled as one who wished to overlook evil or support evil. This is a leftist idea of evil –– fighting for social justice, not God's justice. If you are WOKE correctly, you wish to be one who willingly would never overlook evil as defined by progressives. The problem as used in education and radical leftist movements is who gets to define EVIL. It means to LIBERALS to stay awake to fight for their causes. As Israel morally declined, before captivity, they ALSO altered right and wrong. Woke-ism is also facilitating this in today's culture.
Isaiah 5:20-21, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!” (NKJV)
People often use the term “woke” in all kinds of ways to denigrate opposition viewpoints. It is a kind of semantic tyranny.
Isaiah 5:13, “Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge; Their honorable men are famished, And their multitude dried up with thirst.”
The woke movement has deprived the nation of good leadership. Family values are denigrated. Deviancy is being exalted and raised up and celebrated while the normal, traditional ways are being degraded. Sexual deviancy is defined up and normalcy is being defined down by our woke leadership.
THE NATION FACES COMING SHORTAGES OF GOOD LEADERSHIP
One effect of woke-ism is that good leadership is undermined. No one with reasonable standards wants to serve. Their reputation would be destroyed by woke-ism. A system built on faulty principles would also produce few leaders OF CHARACTER.
Isaiah 3:6-7, “When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: 7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer;…make me not a ruler of the people.”
3:1-3, “For behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, Takes way from Jerusalem…2 The mighty man and the man of war, The judge and the prophet, And the diviner and the elder; 3 The captain of fifty and the honorable man, The counselor and the skillful artisan…”
A lot of potential leaders in the clergy and politics and the military will be intimidated by the woke culture to NOT serve. They might say look at what the leftist press and system did to the last leader who tried to reform the system.
WHAT IS GOD’S JUSTICE AND WHO DEFINES TRUE EVIL?
William Bernaise, the inventor of Public Relations came up with a concept called Semantic Tyranny. You define terms in such a way that it is hard to oppose them without seeming stupid and evil. Our media and academia use such terms as woke and social justice in that if you disagree you appear xenophobic or racist or messagenistic or Islamophobic or homophobic.
Isaiah 8:19-20, “And when they say to you, ‘Seek those who are mediums and wizards…’ should not a people seek their God? … 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
Wise people should use God's standards for right and wrong and not the leftists culture of our time.
Isaiah 55:8, “‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,’ says the LORD.”
Clerics in a nation should be warning about norms that undermine traditional family values, etc. but are asleep or afraid or deceived. This led Israel to a moral collapse. Could it be happening again to us? Too many pastors are afraid to preach Biblical laws and standards.
Isaiah 56:10, “His watchmen are blind, They are all ignorant; They are all dumb dogs, They cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”
The Apostle Paul also warns us. Note what he wrote to gentile believers:
Philippians 3:18-19, “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame –– who set their mind on earthly things.”
Isaiah 59:14, “Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter.”
Will the woke definitions of evil and good dominate or will God's standards make a comeback in western Christian nations? Legacy media is totally compromised as well.
1 Timothy 4:1-3, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats…”
It is worth noting that one organization that pushed for woke standards BLM is against the nuclear family and traditional marriage and many are pushing vegetarianism. We are not against being single or vegetarian but, the way it is being pushed by the far left is alarming.
1 Timothy 2:1-2, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men… 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness…”
Jeremiah 2:19, “Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God.”
We should pray and vote for the best leaders available and not the woke ones, or our own wickedness will undermine us.
