In the End, Christians Win as the Trumpet Sounds, Rescuing  Planet Earth

THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS SIGNALS GOD'S  VICTORY OVER EVIL

In the end, we win! How? Christ will return at the last Trumpet sound and crush evil, restore justice and righteousness. The Feast of Trumpets one of the Biblical Holy Days, celebrates this breath-taking event. Some time in the historically near future Christ will return and BELIEVERS WILL WIN IN THE END.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54, “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed… 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (NKJV)

Think about being incorruptible, we will be like Superman but no kryptonite to worry about. We will be indestructible, wow.

Verse 53, “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’”

This last Trumpet will sound our ultimate victory over death thanks to Jesus. WE WIN IN THE END, so stay faithful. Note what the Apostle Paul says to comfort us believers:

1 Thessalonians 4:13, “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest yousorrow as others who have no hope.”

Paul is writing to believers to not worry over brethren who have passed away and are asleep. Unlike the world, we should know that the victory is ours whether we pass away before the second coming of the Messiah or not.

1 Thessalonians, “16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the TRUMPET of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

The Apostle to the gentiles is saying comfort one another as we look to the last Trumpet of God when WE WIN IN THE END.

BELIEVERS WILL SHARE IN THE VICTORY ANNOUNCED BY THE LAST TRUMP

How will we share in Christ's victory besides being given eternal life and being indestructible ?   Jesus will enlist us in helping make the remaining physical world into a paradise.

2 Timothy 2:11-12 NKJV 11 This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. 12 If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

If we persevere until the end of our lives or the trumpet announced the return of Jesus then we will reign with Christ.  IN the end WE WIN.

Revelation 2:26-27 NKJV 26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations… 27 He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels…”

Nothing could be clearer; we will get to rule under Christ to make nations behave and thereby bring in paradise.  What a victory for true believers!

Revelation 5:10, “And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shallreign on the earth.”

Revelation 20:6, “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

The way to be a true winner is to follow Jesus until He returns or we pass away.

THE BIBLICAL HOLY DAYS ARE FOR ALL BELIEVERS EVEN TODAY

These Holy Days were given not to just Judah, but to all of Israel. They are described in the Bible as “The Feasts of the LORD.” God calls them His Feast Days. See Lev. 23:1 and verses 3-4 in which they are called His Sabbaths and Feasts. They belong to God and not to any one of the twelve tribes. They do not stand or fall for certain periods of time, with the unfaithfulness of any of the tribes of Israel.

Leviticus 23:37-41, “These are the feasts of the LORD which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations… 41 You shall keep it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

These Holy Days are not the Jew’s Days, but belong to God. Before the sacrificial rules were given, God said that His annual Holy Days and the Sabbath are an IDENTIFYING SIGN between Him and His people. All of Israel.

Exodus 31:13, “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.’”

Sabbaths –– plural –– means more than just the weekly Sabbath. It means the annual ones as well.   THE HOLY DAYS DO NOT COME AND GO WITH THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM. The Holy Days began to be delivered to Israel before the sacrificial system was even commanded. The Passover and Days of Unleavened bread were given in Exodus 12 and 13. They help us identify with God’s rescue of Israel from slavery in Egypt and our rescue from slavery to sin by Christ. These annual days are part of the clear plan of salvation and we live it out each year as we keep God’s Holy Days,  not mans’ compromised holidays.

Jeremiah 7:21-23, “Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat. 22 For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices. 23 But this is what I commanded them, saying, “Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.”’”

See Jeremiah 7:21-23 as proof that the sacrificial system was added because of the weakness of the people. Further see also Psalms 40:6, 51:16. Its replacement by the sacrifice of the true Lamb of God in no way cancels the annual Holy Days. The Fall Holy Days point clearly to the second coming of Jesus and His millennial reign.

Jesus observed the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Tabernacles and the Last Great Day. He observed the Feast at the risk of His life. See John 7:1-2, 10, 37. He is looking forward to keeping the Passover again with His disciples.

PLAN ON COMING TO THE FEAST AND CELEBRATING CHRIST'S VICTORY

If we make plans now we can attend the feast this year, starting October 17, 2024.  The Church of God in the first century kept the Holy Days and it is clear that they knew they were holy. No discussion of whether to keep them is in the New Testament, just a record of them being kept. See Acts 12:3-4, 20:6, 27:9, 18: 21 and I Cor. 5:6-8, 16:8.
